Bailey McKinney - Kerrville Tivy High School - Huston Tillotson University - Graduated
“Being part of Lavelle’s organization was truly life-changing. I joined as a freshman in High School, and it was the first time someone told me I had what it took to play college baseball. Lavelle believed in me before I believed in myself and pushed me to show up early, stay late, and outwork everyone around me.
He put me in front of multiple colleges, and late in my senior year I earned a scholarship to Huston Tillotson University. I went on to be voted Team MVP as a freshman and successfully transitioned from third base to becoming a full-time pitcher—something I never imagined possible.
Lavelle is more than a coach; he’s a mentor for life. Even after my playing career ended, we stayed close, and many of my lifelong friends came from his organization. I’ve been an athlete, an employee, and one day my son will be part of his program too. Lavelle changes lives through baseball”.
Jacob Hubbard - Boerne Champion High School - Huston Tillotson University - Graduated
“I can confidently say that my baseball career—and much of my professional success beyond the field—would not be where it is today without Lavelle. He worked tirelessly to put both our team and me individually in front of collegiate and professional recruiters, constantly grinding to create opportunities whenever and wherever he could.
from the very beginning of the recruitment process through my college commitment, he was present at every step—guiding, advocating, and holding me to a high standard.
The lessons learned and time spent under Lavelle went far beyond baseball. The discipline, accountability, work ethic, and professionalism he instilled translated directly into the business world and have played a major role in my continued success off the field. Because of his dedication and belief in me, I was able to continue my through college and into independent professional leagues.
Even today, Lavelle remains in contact and regularly checks in, still pushing to help players find their next opportunity. He doesn’t just coach or recruit—he invests in people for the long term, and I am a direct result of that commitment”.

Bradden Kesey - Monohans High School to St Mary’s University
“Coming from a small West Texas town, getting recruited to play college baseball felt almost impossible. Opportunities are limited out here, and it’s hard to get noticed. College Baseball Recruiting completely changed that for me.
Lavelle Morgan personally took me under his wing and made the recruiting process simple and stress-free. He didn’t just help me get exposure he genuinely cared about me as a person. From day one, he treated me like family, made sure I was taken care of, and always had my best interests in mind.

From day one, Lavelle went above and beyond to support me through every step of the recruiting process. He worked quickly and tirelessly to set up college visits, making sure I had the right opportunities in front of me. Those visits ultimately led to my commitment to North Central Texas College, and I couldn’t be more thankful. The level of dedication, communication, and personal support Lavelle and the entire CBR team provided made all the difference. I am incredibly grateful for their continued support and I’m excited to begin the next chapter of my college baseball journey.”
Hunter Kunc - Mason High School - University of Incarcerate Word
“There aren’t many guys out there that can do what Lavelle and CBR can do for you. When it comes discipline, consistency, integrity, Lavelle checks off all the boxes and many more.
I met Lavelle coming into High School, and he completely changed the ceiling of what I was capable of on the field. Even after just a couple of lessons, it was incredibly easy to notice the amount of knowledge he has in the sport both on and off the field. He laid the bricks for me to walk on in order to fulfill my dream of playing baseball at the next level.
Lavelle worked hard to put me in front of all the right people and on all the right diamonds in order to secure a spot in an NCAA Division 1 program.
I don’t believe there was any way for me to have ever made it as far as I did without Lavelle’s mentorship, and expertise. I am incredibly thankful, grateful, and happy to have worked with such a good person”.
Ethan Cummings - Madison High School - Glendale Community College
“My name is Ethan Cummings and my recruitment process started out very slow. I attended several showcases and continued to perform, but despite my efforts, nothing ever really came from them. It was frustrating not seeing results that matched the work and the time I was putting in.
Everything changed once I started working with Lavelle Morgan. from the very beginning, he was proactive and intentional, connecting me with multiple college coaches almost immediately. Within a short period, coaches were calling, showing genuine interest, and setting up visits. The process finally felt real and organized. About a month later I committed to Glendale Community College AZ.
Lavelle made the entire process easy and seamless, handling communication and guidance so I didn’t have to stress about my future anymore. Thanks to his help, I am able to focus on developing as a player, knowing I have a clear path forward”.
Ethan Deckwa - The Woodlands College Park High School - Western Oklahoma State University
“Coach Lavelle brings an unmatched level of value to player development. He helped refine my mechanics so I can throw harder with less effort, while also supporting every aspect of my growth as an athlete—from pitch selection and the mental side of the game to navigating the recruiting process and communicating with college programs. His reputation speaks for itself, and the results truly deliver”.
DJ Jewell - Judson High School - Wayland Baptist University
“Our son was 2 years old when he hit a plastic ball over the roof of our home with a plastic toy bat. As soon as he was ready, we signed him up for little league. He’s played for various baseball clubs throughout the city. As high school approached we began searching for a club that would echo the values of our family and help him get to the collegiate level. We are beyond grateful to have found just that in Coach Lavelle Morgan and his baseball program.
After 2 months of working with Coach Lavelle our son’s swing was transformed. He identified my son’s strengths and built on them. Running a 6.5 sec 60 yard dash, Coach Lavelle improved his ability to steal bases and perfected his game in the outfield. More importantly our son gained confidence, positively impacting grades and his character. We are proud to say he has been accepted to Wayland Baptist University and has earned a walk-on position to their baseball team. Thank you Coach Lavelle for helping DJ’s childhood dream to play college baseball a reality!”

Brandon Mares - Veterans memorial High School - Ottowa University in Arizona
“Coach Lavelle was a blessing to me and my family. I never thought playing baseball after high school was ever an option. But after I joined his team and program, it started to look like it could be a possibility. With his guidance, not just improving my game, but me as a person going to college through baseball, started to look like it could become a reality. Coach Lavelle just kept telling me, "Just trust the process." As a family, we listened. I'm now proud to say that starting my last season as a high school player isn't going to be my last season. I'm now a committed player. I got an offer from a 4 year university. Being in Coach Lavelles program was the best thing that could have happened to me and my future. Lavelle has made a dream of mine come true by "trusting the process."
Dominic Basille - Veterans memorial High School - Ottowa University in Arizona
“Lavelle Morgan has played a huge role in helping me become a college baseball player, and I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without him. From the very beginning, he believed in me and pushed me to be better not only as an athlete, but as a person. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure I was developing the right skills, mindset, and work ethic needed to compete at the next level.
Lavelle never took shortcuts. He invested countless hours into my training, gave honest feedback, and held me accountable even when it was difficult. Whenever I faced setbacks or doubts, he was there to motivate me and remind me of my potential. He also helped guide me through the recruiting process, offering advice and support that made a stressful journey much more manageable.
More than anything, Lavelle truly cares about the players he works with. His dedication, knowledge, and passion for the game have had a lasting impact on my life. I’m extremely grateful for everything he has done for me, and I’m proud to say that his guidance helped make my dream of playing college baseball a reality”.
Troy Guttridge - LaVernia High School - Ottowa University in AZ
“Our family is extremely grateful for the impact Coach Lavelle has had on Troy over the past 4 years. When Troy first joined the program, he lacked fundamentals. Coach Lavelle was honest and reassuring from the beginning, encouraging us to trust the process and stay patient, confident that with proper development and consistency, Troy would eventually “catch-up” and he did.
Coach Lavelle’s experience and long term approach to player development made all the difference. He focused on building a strong foundation through fundamentals, repetition and accountability rather than rushing results. As a result, Troy grew significantly as a player, becoming a confident and reliable second baseman while also recently developing as a pitcher under Coach Lavelle’s guidance.
Beyond on-field development, Coach Lavelle played a critical role in preparing Troy to play at the next level. His knowledge of the recruiting process has been invaluable. He helped guide Troy through recruitment opportunities, evaluations, and expectations required to complete at the collegiate level. Because of his mentorship and advocacy, Troy continue his baseball journey in college.
What sets Coach Lavelle apart is his commitment to developing the whole athlete. He teaches players how to trust the process, handle adversity and believe in themselves while holding them to a high standard. Troy has learned work ethic, resilience and accountability, all which will stay with him far beyond the field.
We can confidently say that Troy is playing college baseball because of Coach Lavelle’s guidance, development process and investment in his players’ futures. We highly recommend Coach Lavelle to any family looking for a coach/program/team who knows how to develop athletes the right way and prepare them for success at the next level”.
Daniel Enriquez - Holy Cross High school - Ottowa University of AZ
“I brought my son Danny, to Coach Lavelle Morgan after he turned 12. My son wanted to play at a more competitive level, while developing his skills. After we met and spoke with Lavelle, I knew he was the only coach for my son. Lavelle explained he would develop and prepare Danny for each level of baseball. Danny learned the correct way to play every aspect of the game. Furthermore, he assured our family that if Danny followed his guidance, he would have the opportunity to play college baseball.
Danny’s skill and development was evident when he went to try out for his high school team. The knowledge and experience he gained from Lavelle had Danny more than prepared to play at the high school level.
At each level, Danny has been prepared and guided to be successful at his current level and equipped to compete at the next level.
Playing college baseball was always a dream for my son. Under Lavelle’s guidance and leadership, that is no longer a dream.
Danny’s ambition to play college baseball is a reality and this is due to Lavelle’s superior knowledge of baseball and recruiting. Danny did exactly as Lavelle instructed him, and now my son will continue to play at the college level. While some players baseball career will end on their last high school game, I am extremely grateful to Lavelle my son will continue to play baseball. Danny will be able to obtain a college education and play baseball. This will make Danny my family’s first college athlete.
I would not trust my son’s baseball career through youth and high school to anyone else but Lavelle. Thank you very much Lavelle, my whole family is eternally grateful to you. We could never repay the opportunity you have given Danny. We cannot express how much we appreciate your coaching, leadership, and guidance to help Danny to achieve his college baseball dream.
Angel Salazar - Byron P. Steele High School - Nebraska Wesleyan College
“Lavelle Morgan began mentoring and coaching my son Angel when he was a Sophomore in high school. He attended Byron Steele High School in Cibolo Tx and at the time we felt it was a little far for us to travel for practices. Angel had tried out previously and made the roster but we had declined due to the uncertainty of being able to get him to and from practice and games on time. Lavelle really wanted Angel that year and ensured me we would be able to make it work. We did and to this day I’m so glad we made the right decision. Angel played the next three years with him and competed at the highest level. His development and confidence changed in many ways. Lavelle turned him into the best baseball player he could be. He also turned him into a man and prepared him for the next level after high school. Lavelle worked with not only Angel but every player on the roster to prepare videos and interviews to send out to thousands of colleges across the country. Every player on the team was picked up by a college by the end of their senior year. Angel committed to Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln Nebraska. Lavelle still keeps in touch with his players and mentors them in life and in baseball. He is a lifelong coach, mentor and friend. The sport is greater for having him”.
Brashean Mariner - Smithson High School - Penn State University
“My name is Brashean Mariner, and I played one year with Coach Lavelle’s Texas Bombers. Out of the 13+ years I’ve played baseball, that single year stands above the rest — not because we were undefeated or the most talented team in the state, but because of the way Coach Lavelle invested in every single player.
Before coming to Texas, my baseball journey was anything but smooth. I played three years of high school baseball in Florida. As a freshman, I was undersized — about 5’8” and 115 pounds — and I heard about it every single day. I was picked on by players and overlooked by coaches. It wasn’t just my size; it felt like everything I did was criticized. Instead of quitting, I kept showing up and kept working.
My sophomore year was a turning point. After struggling in the fall, I made a promise to myself that I would never feel that way again. I worked relentlessly, and in the spring I became JV captain, led the team in batting average and fielding, and earned a Gold Glove award. I thought I had finally broken through.
But going into my junior year, I was unexpectedly cut during tryouts — despite performing well. I hit, ran, and fielded among the top players there. When the coach told me there were simply “better players” and even suggested I might not belong on a baseball field, it stung deeply. Eventually, after speaking with him, I was allowed back on the team — but I barely played. My confidence suffered, and my swing was constantly being changed. I went through four different swing styles in one season. The joy I once had for the game slowly faded.
After that difficult year, my family and I moved to Texas. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to keep playing. Then my dad heard about a tryout for Coach Lavelle’s team in San Antonio and signed me up. I showed up unsure of myself and unsure if I even loved the game anymore.
I made the team, but my swing was still a mess. One night at practice, Coach Lavelle let anyone who wanted to stay late take extra swings. I stayed. I kept popping the ball up and couldn’t figure out why. I asked him for help. He didn’t overhaul my swing. He didn’t confuse me with five different fixes. He noticed one small adjustment — something I couldn’t see myself — and pointed it out. That one correction changed everything. My swing felt natural again. My confidence returned. My love for the game came back.
More than that, Coach Lavelle opened doors for me. He helped me gain an opportunity to play NCAA Division III baseball in Texas. I ultimately chose Penn State for academics — my dream school — but I tried out for their club team. During one doubleheader, I pitched six innings with six strikeouts and only one run allowed, and I went 5-for-6 at the plate. I even hit balls over the scoreboard in tryouts. Whether I made the team or not, I played some of the best baseball of my life — and that confidence traced back to the foundation Coach Lavelle helped rebuild.
Coach Lavelle didn’t just improve my swing. He restored my belief in myself and my love for the game. When others doubted me or overlooked me, he invested in me. He taught me when others wouldn’t. Out of every team I’ve ever played on, that one year with Coach Lavelle meant the most — because it reminded me why I fell in love with baseball in the first place”.
Zech Robichaux — Huston–Tillotson University - Graduated
“Lavelle Morgan played a major role in my development on and off the field. I can confidently say that the opportunities I earned—including multiple college offers and ultimately signing with Huston–Tillotson University—were strongly influenced by his guidance and advocacy.
What sets Lavelle apart is how clearly and intentionally he teaches. He instilled discipline, accountability, preparation, and professionalism—standards that have stayed with me well beyond baseball. He also made the college recruiting process clear, organized, and achievable. He explained what mattered, how to communicate with college coaches, and how to stay consistent throughout the process.
That recruiting knowledge was so well communicated that I was able to relay the same information to other high school players I coached while in college. After college, I worked with the Texas Rangers for a summer and now work full-time for the Round Rock Express—still connected to the game long after my playing days ended. I’m truly grateful for his impact and would recommend him to any family looking for real development and real results.”
Ricky and Rudy Gonzalez - St Joseph High school - Ricky St Edwards University - Rudy Schreiner University
“I would like to personally thank Coach Lavelle for all his help in getting my two sons recruited to play at the next level. Coach Lavelle assisted and got my older son recruited to pitch at St. Edwards University (2020) and my youngest son to pitch at Schreiner University (2024). My family and I have had the pleasure of having known Coach Lavelle for about 10 years as he developed and prepared both of my sons to play college baseball. Coach Lavelle is doing the right things for the right reasons and most importantly, provided excellent advice and guidance. Coach Lavelle’s playing and coaching experiencemade the difference. His ability and networking capabilities with many college coaches is definitely an advantage. I completely trust and highly recommend Coach Lavelle and truly appreciate his assistance in getting both my sons to play college baseball” - Rick Gonzalez
